Governor Inslee issues new guidance.

Gov. Jay Inslee announced Sunday (11/15) a four-week statewide set of restrictions in response to the recent rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus in Washington and across the country. The new restrictions come as Washington sees consistent increasing daily case counts, with over 2,000 cases a day over the weekend and average cases in the state doubling over the past two weeks. In reviewing the King County Public Health and Washington State guidance documents, here’s what is means for the Mercer Island Beach Club
  • Water Recreation Facilities may remain open by appointment only (link to MIBC Reservations page). As such, the following continues to be available to members: swim lessons, swim team and masters programming, as well as, member swim by reservation. We will continue to lease the pool as Youth Sports (outdoors only) is allowed.
  • The Clubhouse lounge will remain open Monday – Friday 9am-5pm by Reservation only (capacity limited to 8). Any seating arrangement must be limited to a single household only.
  • The Fitness Center will temporarily close through December 14th.
