The Cahoon Family
Members for 40 years and counting, and now 4 generations and counting. Jack and Suzanne Cahoon joined the Beach Club in 1976 after moving to MI from Yakima. They were avid tennis players, even took home some tournament trophies. Their son Scott and his wife Barb became members in 1990, and their two sons Christopher and Aaron grew up on the tennis courts and in the pool and lakefront of MIBC. You can still find Scott and Barb heading out in their boat or enjoying the beautiful views from the picnic tables. Now the next generation has arrived in the form of baby Jack. The Cahoons have chosen to celebrate many special events at the Club, from birthdays to wedding celebrations. MIBC has played an important part in the Cahoon Family’s lives for 40 years; just as important, the Cahoon Family has been a vital part of MIBC for 40 years.
