The Robadey family
Melanie Janin and Jean-Louis Robadey just moved to Mercer Island from the San Francisco Bay Area in late June. Along with their children Luca (age 14), Alicia (13), and Juliette (8), they are thrilled to be here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! Melanie is originally from Washington, D.C. and Jean-Louis from Geneva, Switzerland, and lived in DC for 11 years before moving to California in 2011.
Melanie joined Amazon in February this year as the communications lead for Amazon’s environmental sustainability work, and Jean-Louis will continue to build his social impact-oriented strategy and philanthropy consulting firm for foundations, non-profits, and corporations. Their family loves to swim, bike, run, and ski — and hope to do lots of those things in the Seattle area.
They’re also big music and theater fans, so they were over the moon when they saw Hamilton in early June before leaving San Francisco. The show is coming soon to Seattle – and they unequivocally say, “Don’t miss it!!”
